The Resurrection Church is a parish church in Kortrijk, located on Burgemeester Pyckestraat. Let's call it the little hidden gem of churches.

Some background: In 1913, a monastery with church was built on the Beverlaai for the Claris Sisters who came from Bergen. However, when the First World War broke out, the buildings were not used as a monastery, but for the railways. Subsequently, the Gendarmerie was housed in the building. In 1923, the complex was purchased by the Sisters of Our Lady of Assistance and set up as a school, which later got the name: Lyceum Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Vlaanderen. The complex of buildings, which was badly damaged in 1944, was restored.

In 1963 the Resurrection Chapel was added, located on the Burgemeester Pyckestraat. This chapel was designed by André De Smedt and has the shape of a double crown with sixteen support points on top of which is a tower, also in the form of a crown. The shell-shaped building, is a smaller variation on the modern abbey church of Coeur Creve in Missouri, US. When two churches in Kortrijk were withdrawn from worship in 2020, the Resurrection Chapel was elevated to the new parish church.

The church is open to the public.
